Photobook ideas – Have some fun with your photos

I love having some fun with photos and there are many, many websites and apps for phones out there that make having fun with photos very easy nowadays!

I stumbled upon this little gem the other day: and had heaps of fun with it. It is very easy to use and once you have created your fun image with your photo, you can add it to your photobook or calendar. I am sure you will get some great reactions!

This is what I did:

website to have some fun with photos

On the website you select which type of effect you would like to use. I selected ‘Your photos in museums’.

Add photo and select which type effect

Then you have a few options to add your photo. You can upload a photo from your computer, select one from Facebook, Picasa or Flickr, or use one that you have uploaded already to a website.

I browsed to a photo on my computer where I had already made a smaller, compressed image from the photo I wanted to use otherwise it might take too long to upload. Make sure that if you want to use it in your photobook that the print quality is good enough, so don’t make the image too small.

Click ‘Continue’ once you have selected the right image, this is the one I selected.

You might have to wait a few moments whilst the photo uploads.

And then your image is done:

How cool is that?!

You can immediately share your image on Facebook and even save your image to your own computer (you have to become a member to save your images).

And then you can add your photo to your photobook:

Have you used other sites like this? Which ones do you like? I am also very curious to hear  how have you used the end-result?
